Debt Recovery Services

For any business the avoidance of bad debts is an essential part of its day to day existence and at Bracher Rawlins we offer a dedicated Debt Recovery Service.

Our aim is provide a service sufficiently flexible that it can be tailored to the specific needs of our individual clients. We do not believe in a ‘one size fits all’ policy for debt recovery but recognise the varying needs of our individual clients and aim to adapt our services accordingly.

At every stage of the debt recovery process careful consideration is given to cost effectiveness and to the prospects for successful recovery, together with an early consideration of the debtor's ability to pay. This allows us to deal with the recovery of debts of all sizes, no matter how large or small, rather than rendering small debts unrecoverable.

- As such, we are currently pursuing debts for a variety of clients ranging from £200 to £250,000.

- We have extensive experience of pursing overseas debtors and in the past six months alone we have pursued, or are continuing to pursue, debtors in Scotland, Ireland, France, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Austria and Turkey.

- We believe that close client consultation is vital to both the successful pursuit of debts and to ensuring that our service reflects the needs of our clients.

- In addition to debt recovery, our services extend to the avoidance of debt through advising our clients on their Terms of Business.

Our Debt Recovery Services are headed by Senior Partner Simon Rawlins, who has over 20 years experience in this field and is supported by a team of trained assistants. We believe that this structure allows us to provide a comprehensive service on all aspects of debt recovery whilst ensuring that costs are kept well under control.
